Luxe city life

Auckland, known as the city of sails, is a perfect spot to start our journey. After checking in at Sofitel Auckland on the waterfront, our evening promises a feast at Sky Tower along with an aerial panoramic view of the Hauraki Gulf.

View from the top

A helicopter ride to the Bay of Islands gives us an aerial glimpse of the east coast, home to hundreds of dolphins and other aqua life. We are then welcomed at Mountain landing with a special Powhiri Performance that is part of the tribal welcome ceremony. We stroll down one of the nine private beaches and bask in the pristine waters, positioned seductively amongst rolling green hills. Explore the scenic Southern Alps

Thrilling jet ride and a day out

A charming visit to Lake Taupo is amplified by a thrilling jet ride on the mighty Waikato River, which takes us to the exhilarating Huka falls. The therapeutic hot springs against the backdrop of the volcanic mountains, give an added a sense of thrill to the experience.

Through the Southern Alps

The next few days are spent exploring Christchurch City, where we embark on a fascinating journey on the Tranz Alpine Express through the scenic Southern Alps to Greymouth to see the alluring Fox, Franz and Tasman glaciers. We stay at the Waonoi Forest Retreat, a 5-star retreat with a degustation menu topped with attentive service.

Time for some adventure sports

Our last stop on this journey is Queenstown, home to adventure sports and unique experiences set among the most scenic backdrops. After a private tour to Franz Josef glacier, we are whisked off in a chopper to Blanket Bay, amid the snow-covered peaks of the Southern Alps range. Blanket Bay Lodge, rated as one of the top luxury lodges of New Zealand, is nothing short of paradise. It provides an apt setting to end a holiday that is pure bliss from start to finish.
