Day 1 : Arrive Auckland 'Kia Ora Welcome to New Zealand'
Welcome to 'the youngest country on earth'. You will notice the climate and temperatures are very fresh compared to home. We recommend you get out and enjoy the fresh air, uncluttered spaces and this very special country. Be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. Day 2 : At Auckland

After breakfast ride up the SkyTower which is the tallest structure in the Southern Hemisphere. Travel up to the SkyDeck level which is 220 metres above ground level. See the city from above and the during your afternoon sights you will see the same landmarks at their own level. Included is a sailing experience on an America's Cup 'racing yacht'. Auckland is known as 'the city of sails' and this is your chance to enjoy this sport and help doing the sailing should you wish to get Overnight: SkyGrand Hotel – Luxury City View Room (or similar)


Day 3 : Auckland / Waipoua Forest / Hokianga Sand-Dunes / Paihia, Bay of Islands

Depart after breakfast and head north of Auckland towards the Bay of Islands. We will take the route via the Hokianga Harbour so you can take a walk to see Tane Mahuta, 'the lord of the forest' a huge and ancient Kauri tree which measures 13.77 metres at its base. Then take an exciting 'dune buggy' ride over the sand-dunes and sand board down the dunes too! Continue on from here Overnight: Paihia Beach Resort – Spa Studio Room (or similar)


Day 4 : At Paihia / Free Morning / Afternoon Sightseeing

Time for an optional treat this morning at the Resort's, La Spa Naturale, a winner in the 2011 World Luxury Spa Awards. In the afternoon be taken for a sightseeing tour to see the stunning scenery including a visit to Keri Keri which is home to the Makana Confections which hand-make chocolate treats. Receive a special treat to enjoy later or take home as a souvenir of your visit. The Bay of Islands enjoys a sub-tropical climate and was one of the area's first settled in New Zealand. Today there are orchards, vineyards and galleries that you can also visit. Overnight: Paihia Beach Resort – Spa Studio Room (or similar)


Day 5 : Paihia / Auckland / Queenstown

Return to Auckland and proceed directly to Auckland Airport for your flight to Queenstown. The flight takes one hour fifty minutes and even before the flight lands you can see the stunning landscape from the aeroplane. Be transferred to your boutique hotel on arrival at Queenstown. Overnight: Queenstown Park Boutique Hotel – Gondola View Room (or similar)


Day 6 : At Queenstown / Free Morning / Afternoon Sightseeing

This afternoon be taken for a sightseeing tour including visit to historic Arrowtown where you can walk down the 'Main Street' which today still resembles what is was like 100 years ago. If you are interested in the history a walk through the 'Chinese Village' is also highly recommended. Included today is your exciting Shotover Jet-boat Ride. Ride through the narrow canyons and hold on during the exhilarating 360 degrees spins. You will also be taken to the home of bungy, the Kawarau Bungy Centre. See some other people take their bungy and if you are feeling adventurous enough take the bungy yourself (not included at your own cost, pay on the day). Day 7 : At Queenstown / Free Morning / Afternoon Sightseeing

Day 8 : At Queenstown / Collect Rental Vehicle for 2 Days Self Drive Exploring

Collect your Premium 4WD Rental Vehicle – Toyota Highlander (or similar) and continue to explore the area. A drive up to Glenorchy at the upper end of Lake Wakatipu is a popular route. You may wish to visit the wineries in the Gibbston Valley or go further through the Kawarau Gorge to the orchard area of Cromwell or Wanaka. If you are feeling adventurous there are many activities possible today such as tandem sky-dive, zip-line, maybe learn to ski. Ask you agent for more details. Day 9 : At Queenstown / Helicopter Flight & Snow Landing

Continue your own exploring today. We have included a 30 minute scenic helicopter flight from Queenstown Airport which will take you for a snow landing in a secluded mountain location. During the flight the pilot will give a commentary and you will also recognise landmarks on the ground that you have visited in the past days around Queenstown. Return the rental vehicle at the end of the day. Overnight: Queenstown Park Boutique Hotel – Gondola View Room (or similar)


Day 10 : Queenstown / Auckland / Kuala Lumpur

Be transferred back to Queenstown Airport today for your flight to Auckland. Once you reach Auckland transfer to the International Terminal for your return flight home via Kuala Lumpur.
